You never respond to disputes.

Hello and thank you for your review,
We receive a TON of disputes and have a team of researchers carefully reviewing, researching, and resolving each one. We base our decisions on a set of criteria for accepting answers, which is primarily based on the official game rules. Here are a few reasons:
- Answers can not begin with an article: A, An or The (example: The Wizard of Oz is not okay for ""T"", but Wizard of Oz is okay for ""W"").
- Answers can not be plural, as then they are actually duplicates of other answers (example: bluebird is acceptable, but bluebirds is not).
- We cannot accept misspelled answers, as they too are duplicates of the correctly-spelled words (example: Keira Knightley is correct, Kiera Knightly is not).
- Answers can not be adjusted with, for example, a simple adjective (example: Rose is acceptable for a flower, but Pink Rose is not).
- We cannot accept short forms of existing answers (example: Nicolas Cage is correct, Nic Cage is not).
- All answers must be appropriate for an audience beginning at age 4. Any adult/mature content cannot be included.
And, of course, there are some accidental rejections that our dispute team keeps an eye out for. If something you’ve disputed is eventually disputed by another player, the dispute team will have a second opportunity to evaluate and accept (or reject) that word.
We do try to include a rejection reason when we can, but the volume of disputes we receive is high so we try to resolve as many as possible as quickly as possible.
There are a few other rules we abide by, but hopefully the above information offers some food for thought. Thanks for your feedback!

Agreed! Peter Parker is not a celebrity but a fictional character!

Your avatars are all seemingly white based on their features. It’s subtle, but it suggests that to be white is the default/normal, and to be anything else is to be “different”. This type of representation perpetuates white supremacy. It may seem innocuous, but details like these matter.
If people don’t get to add their own images, and you want something more neutral—get creative. Perhaps people can select their favorite animal or objects (like books, drums, a football, car, etc).

I need to know how “The Fox and the Hound” is not a movie title or how “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” is a film trilogy. Some of the correct words are marked wrong but the wrong words aren’t even fixed. Super backwards.

And Kashmir is not a country starting with K but a part of a state in India. My opponent won because that was allowed. And Boston is not a capital city either!!!

I lose games when I should win for example the question was title and the letter was S and I said stay at home mom which is a good answer and it said that was wrong. I also said mongoose for bird with the letter M and I use one of my bonus help words and that’s what the game posted for me and I still got it wrong. It’s no fun to play a game when you get stuff wrong that is actually correct. It makes me irritated that I paid money for coins for a game that’s not even played fairly

I always add a copied I link from wiki to support my claim and agree we should be given credit for improving the game.

I have also noticed that when I try to type in a dispute often times I am unable to type anything into the Box. Might as well remove the dispute option altogether.

I make a dispute almost every day, because the rules are so inscrutable and often ridiculous. I have never once received a reply to answer the disputes.

If you're going to reject an answer, you should provide an explanation so the user can know. Also, many of your rejections make no sense based on your posted rules

Why don’t you only accept English or Muslim names? And not common Indian names eg Indu, Kavita, Krishna etc And to make matters worse, you change what I type to fit your dictionary names!

A few times unique answers are not accepted and when you hit dispute you can not use the ‘submit’ button. For example, a sport beginning with L: Lacrosse. I checked is spelt it correct but it wasn’t accepted and I couldn’t submit as a dispute.

Why are you not accepting “asinine” as a 4 vowel word? The spelling is correct, it has 4 vowels and it wasn’t a duplicate answer. I don’t get it.

I know most things I dispute are not being looked up. Example: American game show, A. I've answered America Says 3 times and it's been counted wrong. I say everytime to look it up on Game Show Network. It is a game and sometimes this costs me a game.

Oftentimes opponents will get credit for misspelled, incorrect or generally bogus answers, costing you the game. Should be able to dispute that “Steven Spielberg” is not a Movie Star or “eggs” is a bad answer for Things at a Gas Station.
