Slow Drains + Gurgling Toilet — Could This Be a Sewer Line Problem?
Hey everyone,
Looking for some input before I call in a pro. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed multiple slow drains in the house — kitchen sink, bathtub, and even the washing machine backs up occasionally. But what really caught my attention is the gurgling sound coming from the toilet when I run the sink or shower https://plumbingpalmcoast.com/.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
Used enzyme drain cleaner (no real improvement)
Snaked the kitchen and bathtub — helped a little, but issue came back
No visible leaks or bad smells (yet)
House is about 40 years old — original cast iron sewer lines
Somebody mentioned it could be a main sewer line clog or even a pipe collapse. How can I tell if it’s something minor or a big issue underground? Is it time for a sewer camera inspection?
Appreciate any advice — this one’s stressing me out.
