Is it possible to speed up the case?
Has anyone here had any luck trying to speed up a legal case? I’ve been stuck in this annoying situation for over a year now, and honestly, it’s driving me nuts. It’s a civil case, nothing too complicated, but every time I try to get an update, they just tell me “these things take time.” A friend said sometimes you can file motions to move things along, but I’m not sure if that applies here. Has anyone managed to make this process any faster, or is it just something I have to wait out? Would appreciate any advice from someone who’s been through it.

Yeah, unfortunately, a lot of people run into this. My wife went through something similar with her immigration paperwork, and it felt like we were waiting forever. In her case, it really helped to get proper legal advice from people who knew how to push things forward. Sometimes there are ways — like motions, or involving higher authorities — but it depends on the type of case. You might want to look into this: https://www.99legal.com/practice/immigration/ — it’s not just about immigration, they’ve got solid info on dealing with delays in different legal matters. Having someone who knows how to navigate the system can make a big difference.
