I have installed a theme but it doesn't show up in my THEME menu, so I cannot activate it.

Not enough free memory. You can free some up by removing unused items from your device, such as pictures, games, or ringtones.
Default Dimension themes are not installed. The base theme for a particular style needs to be on the device in order for the theme to work; ie: a Today theme needs Dimension Today, a Zen theme needs Dimension Zen. Everyone should have all 3 Dimension themes (icon, zen, today) since some of our themes are not a particular style. This does NOT apply to the following devices (8220, 8230, 8350i, 8900, 9000, 9500/9530 and 9630)
Battery not pulled, or not pulled for long enough after download. It should be at least a 15 second pull.
Try editing the permissions for the theme. In some cases after installation it might not have what it needs to be properly recognized. Navigate (from the home screen) to Options>Advanced Options>Applications>[THEME]>Edit Permissions. Set them all to allow and then reset your device.
You may need to contact your service provider to update your device to the latest Operating System (OS). Or you can visit the following link to check the BlackBerry website if they have an update: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/devices/#tab_tab_overview
If you are running the new OS6, the theme may not show. We are quickly trying to update our themes to be OS6 compatible.
